High Summer Empties

Two months of using things right down to the last drop, and apparently summer turns me into a full-body-product maximalist. There is A LOT of body care in this one, which makes complete sense because the minute bare arms and legs are involved, my body routine suddenly becomes almost as elaborate as my face routine.

There’s plenty of skincare too, a little bit of hair, including the hair serum I started using and somehow managed to finish, and even a tiny bit of make-up. Although, judging by the ratio of body lotion to make-up, you can probably tell exactly how I’ve been spending my summer.

I always think empties are so much more interesting than newness because by the time I’ve completely finished something, I really know how I feel about it. No first impressions, no excitement because something has just landed on my desk. I’ve actually lived with it, used it consistently and, in some cases, scraped out every last bit.

So, as always, the empty bottle is the review. Watch the video for everything I finished over the past two months, what I genuinely loved, what I’d buy again, what surprised me and what I’m perfectly happy to say goodbye to.
